- Session times shift by ~1 hour twice a year as UK, US and Australia move on and off daylight saving. Use the timezone presets to see the current picture.
- The London × New York overlap is usually the highest-volume window of the day and is where most intraday breakouts occur on EUR/USD and GBP/USD.
- Trading a JPY pair? The Tokyo × London handover often sets the tone for the European morning.
- If none of the major overlaps fall inside your trading window, prefer patient, level-based setups over breakout trades.
